We know that an active, engaged start sets a positive tone for the entire school day. That’s why our morning program focuses on movement, social connection, and fun rather than passive waiting.
After School Care (2:30pm – 6:30pm)
After a busy day in the classroom, children need space to decompress, refuel, and play on their own terms. Our After School Care welcomes children into a safe, supportive environment where they can:

Morning Transport
We depart Trio Early Learning at approximately 8:05am, dropping children at Deception Bay State School first, then continuing to Deception Bay North State School. Children arrive at school on time, ready to learn.
Afternoon Transport
Our bus leaves at 2:15pm to collect children from Deception Bay State School at 2:30pm, followed by Deception Bay North State School at 3:00pm. Depending on the number of children, we may return to the centre between pick-ups to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Please note: Bus places are limited to a maximum of 10 children per run, so early enrolment is recommended.
Safety is Non-Negotiable
Your child’s safety during transport and throughout their time in our care is our absolute priority. Every bus run includes comprehensive safety protocols:
On Every Bus Journey:
- Two qualified educators on board at all times
- Comprehensive checklists completed at critical points: boarding, each stop, and return to centre
- Final bus check by our Centre Manager or Responsible Person to ensure no child is left on board
