What happens if my child is not immunised?
At Trio Early Learning, we follow the Queensland government’s “No Jab No Play” initiative, requiring children to be fully vaccinated or on a catch-up schedule to attend our centre. This ensures the health and safety of all children in our care.
What to Pack Each Day
We make mornings stress-free by providing most essentials! Here’s your simple daily checklist:
What do I need to bring on my child’s first day?
Backpack (labelled with name)
Sun hat (labelled with name)
Drink bottle (labelled with name)
At least two spare changes of weather-appropriate clothes
If your child is bottle-fed you will need to bring labelled bottles (enough for the day) with pre-measured water in each, and pre-measured formula for the day.
Breast milk needs to be labelled and have the day it was expressed on the bag/bottle.
The Power of Comfort Items
Research shows that comfort items (like a special teddy or blanket) help children regulate emotions and build confidence in new environments. About 70% of children use transitional objects, and it’s perfectly normal even for school-age children! We welcome and encourage these special items from home.

School Readiness
Program
Our comprehensive School Readiness program prepares children for the next step in their learning journey, focusing on both academic and social-emotional readiness to ensure a smooth transition to school.
School Readiness Success: Children who attend quality early learning programs are 25% more likely to graduate high school and 42% more likely to earn higher wages as adults. Our school readiness program builds the foundation for lifelong success!
Equally important, our program fosters social-emotional growth. Children build independence, self-care abilities, emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence. They learn to form positive friendships, communicate respectfully, and cooperate with peers through turn-taking and collaborative activities. By supporting both academic and social-emotional skills, we prepare children to thrive in school and beyond.
